On October 13th, a dozen volunteers came out to the garden and planted over 1200 daffodil bulbs in the outer ring of trees and around the center fountain. They should look terrific when they bloom in the spring. We will take pictures and post them but we hope everyone in the area will have the time to stop by and see them in person.

Wrapped in the stripes of the flag
Rolling onward
Into infinity – the Great Beyond
The silver chord chasing
Becoming earth bound in red and white
The honor and the blood
Flowing ever thus from one increment of time
To the next nonexistent increment.
